The Rise of Animal Kind

With the destruction of the age of Tryanixia new creatures rise to the fore. Animals came to the world, born of reptiles and with them the animal spirits are born.

Each kind has a higher spirit. The mind above it all. The dream that became real.

The animal spirits are gods.

The first spirit, the lord of all animal kind is known as the beating heart. It may take many forms. All in its vicinity with a warm beating heat will synchronise with it. Its heart glows from within whatever form it takes.

The beating heart holds one of the secrets of Khwarenah within it. The truth of fire in the water.

From it all the other animal gods were born, with the exception of Kla Kla Kla the goddess of birds, who carved her own path from the dominions of the reptile gods. It is said that the Beating heart visited her and bestowed the gift of warmth.

The spirits saw the future and the rise of men, and so adapted their kinds so they might better survive the onslaught of their arrival.

The Beastkin -Minotaurs, Wolfkind, TIgerkind, Bearkind, Elephantkind, Horsekind centaurs, pegasuses, unicorns and many others of the animal peoples were formed from this impetus.

Kla Kla Kla was the goddess of all birds. She was born when a reptile dreamed of flying. Beloved of Qescotaal, the feathered serpent.

Mah was the goddess of Minotaurs, she was beloved of Alwe, the goddess of the white moon.

Ubassti was the goddess of tigerkind, and all other feline people.

The Bears resurrected Roijukan much to the joy of Gian. The god of bears and death. Who, despite his fearsome title, is always considered kind.

Haragratha was the god of horses and pure knowledge

Galgadesh was the god of elephants, the opener of the way.

Surraughuk was the ancient god of fish, oldest of all the animal spirits. Keeper of Ancient Secrets.

The moon goods and animal spirits were in harmony.

The began creating great kingdoms in the world.

The reptile people and gods were also present in this age.

Towards the end of the age the evil of Thardel was foreseen to be rising again.

A plan was hatched to thwart the evil.

Haragratha and Roijukan led a daring raid on Thardel and the reverse houses. They breach the unlit house.

Roijukan is killed again in the raid, but not before inflicting a wound that cannot heal on Nyaju.

Haragratha and his horse headed warriors were lost, presumed all dead.

Gian dedicates a mountain forest in what would become Bajiao to Roijukan and builds a shrine to him there.

Then came the great cold of Teklak, and the world was plunged into an ice age.

Tyranixia - The Age of the Reptile Gods

From the fish of the oceans would first come the amphibians and the Frog God, then the fearsome reptiles would appear and then conquer the world.

Ultaurgoth has a single mega-continent. Tryanixia.

The Age of Tryanixia is born.

Serpent people, Dragons, Naga, Saurians and Lizardmen are born at this time.

The reptiles reject the gods of the fish, trees, insects and slimes, they will not listen to whispers of the old gods of the moons.

Even so, the doorway to Huǒtsuki is opened. The moon of red shines bright. Muard is awakened. Morterakt, Hekathia also awaken.

The gods Yig, Set, Qescotaal, Tsathoggua, Bahamut, Tiamat and The Rainbow Serpent are born in this time.

The goddess that would become Kla Kla Kla, mistress of all birds was also born during this age. She is the dream of flying made real. She was a consort of Qescotaal. Quescotaal taught Kla Kla Kla the secret of flying in her dreams so that she might fly with him.

Qescotaal takes his domain in the region that would one day be the continent of Aznêloc. The Rainbow Serpent reserves Akoura as its own.

Bahamut went to the region that would become Oreas.

Set and Tiamt went to the region the would become Harkur.

The insect gods are reduced to their current domains after fierce fighting with the reptile gods. Their wars are the stuff of horrific legend. The reptiles sacrificed gods in the rituals used to bind the insect gods to their current region.

Muard aligns with the Dragons, Bahamut and Qescotaal.

The Negala align with the Serpents, Set and Tiamat.

Tiamat is taught by Hekathia.

Set is taught the vile necromancy of Morterakt. He would create one of the strains of vampirism using this knowledge and his own godblood. 

Yig, Tsathoggua and the Rainbow Serpent remain independent.

Serpent people and Dragons dominate this eon.

The Serpent Kings began to dabble with the dark Imodian arts. This led to the corruption of their kingdoms and contact with the dark god Alhoth.

Yig and the Rainbow Serpent eventually side with Muard.

There is a great war.  Ultimon explodes. Ultimos and Necronon emerge in a battle that decimates the planet.

The veil is enforced. The moon gods and the Negala vanish. All other gods are pushed back to their higher selves.

The age of Tryanixia came to an end when the Dragons enact the ritual to crash a comet into the world causing a mass extinction. The Dragons moved their domains to higher planes. This was the only way to stop the Imodian birthing ritual enacted by the Serpent Kings. The ritual is taught to them by Ultimos.

All civilization from this time was obliterated. Most of the lesser reptile gods died along with their people, some survived in the deep depths. A fragment of these races survives in modern Aznêloc. The Dragons moved their domains to the pocket dimensions known as Dragonrealms. The Dragons slept for millennia after the destruction of Tryanixia.

It is during this age that the caverns of Thardel become infested with evil and is the origin point of the reverse houses.

The Rise of the Insect Gods

The insects rose and became many.

They open a door to Dahabqamar, the golden moon and drink of its nectar forming the Insect gods

With their arrival came destruction. Their violence knew no ends. The three queens, wasp, bee and ant laid waste to the world.

The chaos awakened Shunewn, the mad zealot god of the eclipse.

There is unending war.

Dahabqamar sees no reasoning with the insect gods and forces them to leave the golden moon.

Shunewn attempts to bring his cult to the insect gods and bring them under his dominion. The insect gods dismember him and devour his parts.

The insect gods bow to no one, with one exception.

The insect gods respect the rainbow serpent (when she manifests in the next age of Tryanixia). They crossed her once and were so savagely and comprehensively defeated they knew to never cross her again. Her will in Akoura is respected by the Insect gods.

The Parliament of Tree deals with the indignities of the Insect Gods visit upon them by reminding themselves of the plan they themselves put in motion, in which the insect gods are but a small part of a much larger and more intricate picture.

The Rise of the Green and the Parliament of Trees

The green had been there in the beginning, it had known the great protozoa in the lakes of birth but it had great vision. It wanted to feel the sun. The green was born of drinking sunlight.

The green was many, connected. Eventually they would cover the world in one single forest.

The parliament of tree is born and with it the great tree known as the green, the first tree god. The green was more than the great tree, it was the collective will of all trees.

It opened the door to Willowwood, the green moon. It went there and covered its surface with trees.

Gian the goddess of green spoke to its old friend the green and whispered secrets.

She taught the green the secrets of evolution, and how it would one day help create people with these gifts. The green was the caretaker of the world.

The green would form the first codex of time.

But first, it would create flowers, and with them insects would be born of the cephalopods.

It will always be a mystery as to why the Parliament of tree decided to create insects first. They are the most diabolic of gods. Confined but uncontrolled to the current day.

The Age of the Cephalopods

A new creature came to the oceans of the world, the cephalopods. They would conquer the world once belonging to the trilobites.

Their power grew. Cthulhu was born and became a god. R'lyeh was founded.

Cthulhu became the god of dreams opening the door to Shantasma, the purple moon, and then unlocking the dreamlands. Khwarenah is reconnected to the world through the world of dreams. The Feywyld is still within Khwarenah, and would remain hidden for many more millions of years.

The age of the cephalopods is one terrible wars and devious invention and adaption. Eventually the mind flyers would evolve forming their empires in the depths. But other less malign races evolved as well, obviously driven to war lest they become slaves to the mind flayers.

The mind flayers contacted terrible gods from beyond. Shub Niggurath, Yog Sothoth, Nyarlathotep, all were invoked leading to devastation.

The perversions of the Mind Flayers and their dealing with outer gods lead to the destruction of their world.  A mad squid priest of Nyarlathotep finally someone summoned Azathoth leading to global catastrophe.

What survived was far in the depths. They would never again rule the surface world.

Some Mind Flayer found the Unlit House of Nightmares. Nyaju found his first followers.

The octopus and squid gods still have their own secret pantheons. Hidden from the world in their secret cathedrals at the bottom of the deepest oceans. There they have been untouched for millennium. They do not seek out or have interest in other gods, they hide their existence from all.

They perform colour theorem rituals on their skin.

Fish also began to appear during this time.

Surraughuk, the fish god is the first of the animal spirits. It learned the art of colouring the skin from the Octopus gods.

Age of the Trilobites

New creatures emerge in the oceans. The trilobites appear on the world. They are the first to see in the new world. They cover the world and adapt to all environments.

Eventually they notice the moons. Colour enters the collective consciousness of the trilobites and it has a profound effect on them.

There is an evolutionary explosion.

One of these was a giant trilobite that kept growing.

Another gift was telepathy.

The secret psychic societies of the trilobite were born.

The giant trilobite gathered all the tribe together in unison. It had seen the future, and shared the art of future seeing.

There would be a time of great boon and would last seemingly forever.

They would open the doorway to Shuǐdenǚshén, the blue moon. The light of the goddess would shine brightly in the time.

5 million years pass...

The trilobites knew the end would come and all would be lost. So it was decided that the great trilobite would endure for eternity. A cocoon was developed that would trap the great trilobite within a single moment of time. It was given a drug that would put him into a state of bliss and then sealed within.

It was a beacon throughout the world of endless bliss to the trilobites.

Until millions of years later there was not a single soul to hear it.

It is still there, at the bottom of an ocean, singing bliss inside an eternal moment.

Khwarenah’s first tether to the world is this shining signal.

The age of slimes

First there was NNN, the great protozoa. Born of the breath of Shuǐdenǚshén. It was the progenitor of all things after the collapse of god time. Its first new being, its first new god.

NNN was a proud being and denied Shuǐdenǚshén. The world was its.

It was immortal and complete in the empty world. Then it divided. The first new couple of the world. Then they both divided to create the first council. They continued to divide until they covered the world.

Then networks formed, cooperatives of beings working together.

The unformed kingdoms of the Oozes and Slimes rise.

The Green is born at this time. Gian awakens.

The world forms an atmosphere.

A whisper of Kuilloquij heard. A new god of oozes and smiles is made. He teaches the lessons of poison and disease. Viruses are created. Biochemical weapons are stockpiled.

The bacterial and viral gods awaken under the guidance of Kuilloquij. They rise up against NNN.

War is inevitable. Toxic biochemical warfare engulfs the world, radically altering the biochemistry of the atmosphere. This in turn caused a mass extinction event.

Gaorden rises with destructive global storms.

Slimes were never again to rule the world.

Prior to this cataclysm the great protozoa made his greatest warriors sink into the depths of the world and told them to wait a millions years before returning.

These are the progenitors of all modern slimes.

The great protozoa is both immortal and indestructible. It survives to this day.

The great protozoa hates Kuilloquij for the destruction it brought to its beautiful harmony.

The age of slimes ends with a radically different atmosphere rich in oxygen.

The fungi are born at this time making an alliance with what would become the green.

The empty world

No life on the world. Impact by asteroids brings water to the world and the oceans are filled.

The oceans are quiet for 500 millions years.

Shuǐdenǚshén awakens and breathes the gift of life into the oceans. The first being is born.

The Age of Chaos

At the end of the Arcane Wars, the world was filled with chaos. The wars had damaged the architecture of the world. Magical fire erupted from wounds in the world. This goes on for thousands of years.  

Then, world began again.

The End of Godtime

It should be noted, that not all things of godtime were destroyed. Nyaju hid in the depths of the world, unable to have even a single photon of light touch him lest he turn immediately to stone. There he built the Unlit house of Nightmares around himself, the foundation of the reverse houses. There he brewed evil for billions of years in total darkness.

The fortress of Ultimon persists eternally.

The echo of Sinalta would re-emerge billions of years later creating the vast desert Ala’Dasha.

Other traces and echoes exist, paths across the world, access points to places outside of time.

The Arcane War

The Arcane War would end the idyllic world of the gods and reduce all things to ash.

Necronon sought to unwrite the colour theorem, wage war on reality and destroy the gods.

He would summon the Imodian god Alhoth, the destroyer. Alhoth would be born through the world, killing it and giving its substance to Alhoth (Imodians are turned to stone if there true flesh is exposed to our universe). Alhoth would then expand to fill the entire universe, consuming it. It would then move on to another universe, then another. Alhoth's hunger knows no limit or end.

The war was brutal, all was lost.

In the final battle, Rojijukan severs Necronon's arm and thus his connection to his all powerful staff. This kills Rojijukan. Ultimos sealed Necronon within the fortress of Ultimon, in an infinitely layered ever shrinking room.

A veil was place around Ultaurgoth, the Negala were sealled in individual hells, bound by the power of the first gods. A moon of each god marked the seal of each hell. The first gods could not leave their temple moons lest the seals be broken and the Negala released.

The world was empty and silent.

The end of the idyllic first age of the gods

The perfect world was not to last.

Ultimos had brought too many things with him from the world before. Too many memories of the ways things were.

Ultimos hoped to repair what had been broken in the world before. Healed in this perfect world of gods.

His noble ambitions were to be undone.

Somehow whispers of the past found their way to the one who was Necronon and he remembered who he was.

The God of Dead Numbers was reborn.

He saw the Necromathematics anew. The extinction equations, corpse algebra and soul devision.

His conclusions were always the same. HE would end it all, all things, everywhere.

Necronon is the embodiment of sinister cruel evil. He can never be trusted, even when telling the complete truth. He sees all compassion as weakness.

He enjoys breaking peoples wills and have them embrace the truth of nihilism. Cruelty is a useful path in achieving this. He is a sadist.

He is manipulative and controlling. He can distort what people believe.

His only truth is the dead numbers, they cannot lie. Their truth is the destruction of all things.

All his actions are toward this goal.

He corrupted/awakened the servant gods and turned them against their masters.

He called them the Negala.

Nyaju, Hekathia, Kuilloquij, Shunewn, Ehaosh, Masaaledaar Phal and Gaorden were all sworn to evil

He built a city of evil, Sinalta, a deep within vast pit in a sea of sand, with giant black tower at its centre.

Here he intended to finish his task of ending the world and ending the universe. The unravelling.

He had Kuilloquij rape Hekathia to create Morterakt the god of undeath and the dark blood. This crime has been remembered by the Witch Mothers of the Therakeins billions of years later.

Nerconon formed Apaorsa from the desert corruption around the Sinalta. She is the goddess of drought and thirst.

Necronon corrupted the Marid lord creating the Drowned God.

He built an army of horrors to be commanded by the Negala. Things living and not-living. All propelled by the will of Necronon.

He called on the impenetrably dark forces of Imodia from outside of reality.

This lead to the Arcane War that would again destroy the world.

The Perfect World

Ultimos creates the world.

He used the colour theorem to channel material directly from the four elemental planes, forever tying them directly to Ultaurgoth. The Elemental gods were impressed with this new gods power and aided in the task.

A paradise is made.

Ultimos empowers the first gods – Alwe, Rojijukan, Shantasma, Ubassti, Nos Sureiyd, Verreiyn, Dahabqamar, Ibnir, Shuǐdenǚshén, Gian and Muard.

Each of these gods is connected to one of Ultaurgoth's moons. 

Alwe - White

Shantasma - Purple

Ubassti & Nos Sureiyd - Indigo

Verreiyn - Pink

Dahabqamar - Yellow

Ibnir - Orange

Shuǐdenǚshén - Blue

Gian - Green

Muard - Red

Ultimos creates/remakes/summons his brother, his equal, his friend. The true name of his brother is lost. Eventually he would be know as Necronon. Necronon is from the world before.

Ultimos creates servant/companion gods for his first gods.

They are Nyaju, Hekathia, Kuilloquij, Shunewn, Ehaosh, Masaaledaar Phal and Gaorden.

For a time, it was an age of good. Time flows in strange ways during this time. A day could be thousands of years long and a million years could pass in a moment.

The world before

There was a world before the world began.

A great evil was brought to that world, powerful enough to end the world and the entire universe.

An army of evil, the Malha Dei rose and conquered the world it that evil's name.

There was a final war, it ended the world.

Somehow, the end was not the end.

Ultimos, the first god, used the colour theorem to make/remake the world.

Ultaurgoth - basic facts

Ultaurgoth is a vast world, many time that of the earth.

It is orbited by 10 moons, each a different colour. These colours define magic in Ultaurgoth.

Its main continents are Ithromon, Athidar, Harkur, Aznêloc and Akoura.

It has a vast underworld with cavern complexes resembling continents and an ocean of lava. One of these complex is known as Thardel, another Rwkywn. In the ocean of lava is the continent known as Daemos.

Ultaurgoth is an inherently magical world. It is built from magic.

It was created using an extremely powerful spell, the most powerful kind capable of permanently changing reality. These spells are known as theorems. They are the magic of gods.

The theorem used to create Ultaurgoth is the Colour Theorem. The spell is a set of god tools capable of completely editing and rewriting reality. But the colour theorem has rules. It is formed from syllables of power, resonating with each of the 10 colours. It forms patterns. It creates unexpected results.

The first god Ultimos used the colour theorem to create the world.

Ultimos was not a god when he cast it.

There was a world before.
